TWICE’s Japanese Sister Group NiziU To Release Pre-Debut Song On June 30 + To Officially Debut In November

With JYP Entertainment and Sony Music’s global audition “Nizi Project Season 2” ending with its airing on June 26, interest in the final debut group is hot.

The “Nizi Project Season 2,” which aired in Hulu Japan from April 24, features the training process of members of the debut group.

The 10th episode, which aired on June 26, was divided into team Mako and team Maya, and they will sing their debut song “Make You Happy.”

The two teams’ stages were wrapped up and the final rankings were released, with Mako Yamaguchi topping the list.

Riku Ooe came in 2nd, rising 10 notches from before, while Rima Yokoi also rose six notches to 3rd.

In addition, Rio Hanabashi, Maya Katsumura, Miihi Suzuno, Mayuka Ogo, Ayaka Arai, and Nina Hillman made their debut in the top nine.

The debut group was named NiziU, and as you can see from its name, it is the sister group of TWICE.

NiziU is scheduled to make a pre-debut with the simultaneous release of the songs by Korea and Japan on June 30th, and make their official debut in November. Their debut song “Make You Happy” rap part drew attention as it included the titles of all the JYP girl groups, Wonder Girls, Miss A, TWICE, and ITZY.
